Hello! I’m Koby O. Garcia.

I am a Screenwriter and Photographer based in Jersey City, NJ.
I’m also on the Film Unit Production Staff at Saturday Night Live!

Born and raised in New Jersey with a view of the New York skyline, my filmmaking ambitions started young, making no budget shorts with my friends.

Since then, I’ve received an MFA in Writing for Film and Television, managed MSNBC control rooms, and am now living a lifelong dream of working at SNL!

Nowadays I am focused on submitting feature scripts to fellowships and writing short scripts to direct, all while taking a few pictures along the way.

When I’m not writing in coffee shops or spending my Saturdays at 30 Rock, I love to go to the movies after having a slice of pizza (or two).
